What is kundalini yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is a versatile yoga practice that uses different techniques to achieve a better balance of body, mind, and spirit. It elevates the consciousness and activates the life force that is inherited in all of us. The class consists usually of a physical asana & kriya yoga practice, varied breathing exercises and meditation and the rest of the relaxation. The classes use mantras, i.e. sound vibrations, as well as mudras, certain hand positions, and bandhas with body locks, to balance body and mind. Usually, the classes include also yoga philosophy lectures.

There are several different techniques in kundalini yoga,

however, you don't need to know anything beforehand, each participant learns things at their own pace. Despite the skills, the exercise strongly balances and cleanses the body as well as relaxes. The exercises help the nervous system relax and strengthen, the internal organs receive good care metabolism is enhanced, the physical body is strengthened and the mind is refreshed. Every class is always a different. Kundalini yoga is a versatile form of yoga that allows us to find clarity, health, and well-being in our lives.
